The astronomy is real: charts are computed from the true positions of the Sun, Moon and planets for your exact birth moment and birthplace, with the Lahiri ayanamsa used by the Indian national ephemeris. The shastra is classical: interpretations follow Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, the Bhrigu Samhita tradition, Saravali, Phaladeepika and the Ashtakoota rules of Muhurta Chintamani — not arbitrary text.
